The RocketStor 6661A allows you to quickly add any PCIe x4, x8 or x16 card to your Thunderbolt™ 3 capable computing platform; such as media capture, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or external Storage/RAID controller cards. Like it's processor, The lightweight, small-footprint design is ideal for compact workstations and mobile computing platforms such as iMacs, MacBook's Pros and Razor notebooks. At just 7 inches tall, and less than 3 inches wide, the RocketStor 6661A is small enough to pack into a laptop bag, yet is capable of supporting full-sized PCIe 3.0 add-in cards.
Efficient Chassis Design keeps temperatures in check during Heavy Workloads
PCIe devices, such as networking, video and hardware RAID cards can generate a great deal of waste heat during heavy I/O; an efficient, reliable, cooling system is an essential component of any PCIe expansion solution. The RocketStor 6661A was designed to accommodate performance intensive applications. The ventilated, all-aluminum chassis and dual cooling fans keep temperatures in check during high-stress workloads.

The RocketStor 6661A-2U2e allows customers to transform a single Thunderbolt™ 3 port into an all-purpose external connectivity solution. Each RocketStor 6661A-2U2e features 2 6Gb/s eSATA ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports; each port operates independently and all can be used simultaneously. The USB ports support any industry standard USB 3.0/2.0 device or peripheral. The eSATA ports are ideal for external drive enclosures and can support SATA hard drives or SSD’s up to 14TB in size.

Powered by our industry proven Hardware RAID stack, and featuring two industry-standard external Mini-SAS ports (SFF-8088), the RocketStor 6661A-mSAS3 can directly support up to eight SAS/SATA drives and 112TB of storage in one or more RAID configurations. Features two industry-standard external Mini-SAS ports (SFF-8088) which can directly support up to eight SAS/SATA hard drives and SSD’s in one or more RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 1/0, 5/0 or JBOD configurations.
