The RocketU 1022D is a PCIe 3.0 x1 2-Port 5Gb/s USB 3.2 HBA designed for use with PC and Mac platforms. The RocketU 1022D is capable of supporting any industry standard USB 3.x /2.0/1.x devices and peripheral, and is an ideal solution for applications that require access to external storage devices such as USB Hard Drives and SSDs, Drive Docks and enclosures.

Universal Compatibility
The RocketU 1022D is an all-in-one, USB 3.2 connectivity solution for PC platforms.
In addition to high-performance storage devices, the USB 3.2 architecture supports industry standard USB 2.0 and 3.x peripherals including printers and scanners, hubs, card readers and interface devices.
Direct Replacement & Performance Upgrade
The RocketU 1022D is a direct upgrade for the RocketU 1022C USB 3.0 PCIe 2.0 x1 HBA.
The integrated USB 3.2 controllers enable the RocketU 1022D to support any generation of USB device, while the PCIe 3.0 x1 host interface allows it to be used with any PCIe 3.0/4.0 slot.
Driverless, Plug & Play Installation
The RocketU 1022D utilizes an industry standard PCIe 3.0 x1 host-interface and can be easily installed into any PCI-Express x1, x4, x8, or x16 capable desktop and workstation.
In addition, the RocketU 1022D is an xCHI device, and will be automatically recognized by any modern operating system including Windows 11, 10 and Server 2022, macOS 11.x and most Linux distributions.
UAS Performance Boost
RocketU HBA’s can deliver even higher levels of performance when paired with UAS capable storage devices, such as RocketStor USB 3.x Storage Docks. The speed and efficiency advantages provided by UAS technology are ideal for multi-tasking and performance-hungry applications.
UAS (USB Attached SCSI) is a computer protocol that is used to transfer data to and from USB storage devices. UAS is dependent on the USB protocol, and utilizes the standard SCSI command set.
Unlike the slower queue system of BOT (Bulk Only Transport), which only provides single-task commands; each task must complete before the next begins, UAS offers maximized bandwidth utilization, and can handle multiple data transfer requests simultaneously. As a result, USB 3.2 connections working in UASP mode result in higher transfer speeds and lower CPU utilization. UAS clears data queues faster, which results in smoother-operating PC’s.
